Subject or Service's Information

Enter the proper information regarding the defendant.

If you have another address, submit an additional order.

What is An Additional Subject for Service?

An additional subject for service means more than one person or entity listed on the documents must be served individually. You can identify this by looking at the right-hand side of the first page, where the defendant(s) are listed. If multiple names appear—such as a husband and wife, separate tenants, multiple individuals, or a business and its representative—each is considered a separate party and must receive their own complete set of documents. Even if service is made at the same time and place, a full copy must be provided to each named subject, and an additional fee may apply for each.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: If all named defendants are not properly served, the court may not have jurisdiction over those individuals or entities, which can result in delays, dismissed claims, or a judgment that is only enforceable against the parties who were served. Incomplete service can weaken your case, prevent enforcement of court orders, or require you to refile and start the process over. Every listed defendant must be served with their own full set of documents for the case to proceed properly against them.

Photos & Withholding Critical Information:

Providing a photo or detailed subject description is not required, but it can greatly increase the chances of successful service — particularly when subjects are evasive or when neighbor confirmation may be useful for alternative service. The same applies to gate codes, apartment numbers, or any other material information.

If critical information is withheld until after an attempt has already been made, and that information would have likely changed the outcome (e.g., a subject denied identity but was later confirmed via a photo, or a gate code would have allowed access), we may treat the job as a scope change. In these cases, sending the server back may require a new fee. Attempt counts are not transferable, refunded, or extended due to missing or delayed information.

Once a server begins travel to the address, the job becomes non-refundable. Cancelling before an attempt will incur a $25 fee for costs such as document printing or routing changes.

PLEASE BE ADVISED:

We charge per address and include a set number of attempts at that address as insurance. Attempts are not transferable to other addresses. If you’ve provided backup or alternate addresses, each address will be billed separately. Alternate addresses will not be attempted unless paid for, and we will not automatically change to a new address unless the fees have been re-authorized after the initial address is exhausted.

Photos & Withholding Critical Information: Providing a photo or detailed subject description is not required, but it can greatly increase the chances of successful service — particularly when subjects are evasive or when neighbor confirmation may be useful for alternative service. Included attempt counts are not transferable, refunded, or extended due to missing or delayed information.

Phone Numbers Provided for the Subject: If you provide a phone number for the subject, we may forward it to the server to assist with identification or confirmation. However, servers do not coordinate service directly with subjects, and any arrangements made by the subject (such as asking to be served at a new address or at a specific time) do not override our standard procedures or pricing. If the subject requests same-day service, a location change, or attempts to dictate how or where they are served, this may require reauthorization and/or upgraded service fees. Our agreement is with the client — not the subject — and we do not honor verbal instructions made outside that agreement.

Once a server begins travel to the address, the job becomes non-refundable: Canceling before an attempt may incur a $25 fee for costs such as document printing or routing changes. Servers may attempt anytime between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM, seven days a week. If you require attempts outside of this window, please notify us immediately and stop service.

Suggested Attempt Times: Suggested attempt times will be forwarded to the server, and the server may use them to their advantage. However, we do not guarantee that the server will complete all attempts within a narrow time window unless there is a legal reason (i.e., FL, CA, NY, etc. rules for service). Ultimately, the server will attempt at their discretion and suggested attempt times are not binding.

Gated Communities: If access to the property is gated, the server will attempt to follow someone in but will not wait longer than 15 minutes on site. The inability to access a property due to a gate does not stop the job or qualify it for a refund.

Changes in Scope: If instructions change after service has begun — such as switching from personal service to substitute service, requesting court-ordered posting, modifying the actions required, or delayed transfer of critical information that would have affected the outcome of service — we treat that as a new job. Even if the address remains the same, a second fee will apply when the scope of work changes mid-service.

Change Orders – Rush & Same-Day Requests
If you request rush or same-day service, it is critical that all documents and instructions are final at the time the order is placed. Any changes submitted after dispatch—including adding documents, replacing pages, or updating instructions—will be treated as a change order and may incur additional fees. This includes:

  • Submitting new or revised documents after the job has been sent to the server
  • Making changes that require reprinting, reassigning, or rerouting the server
  • Updating instructions in a way that disrupts the server’s established route or timeline
To avoid delays, please ensure your materials are complete and ready for service when submitted. If a change order is accepted, applicable fees will be quoted prior to proceeding. If a change order is accepted, applicable fees will be quoted prior to proceeding. If the client declines the quoted fees, the change order will not be implemented, or any scheduled attempt may be forfeited to avoid the fee per the client’s choice. We are unable to delay or reassign service attempts without confirmed authorization for the change and any associated costs.

Arizona Quick Serve will only execute service that is legal and valid. Requests like “serve anyone who answers” or vague directions to serve someone in a way that the server cannot swear to the validity of service will not be followed. While we understand people may lie or avoid service, it’s also true that others may answer honestly. If the conventional rules for service cannot be completed, it is your responsibility to seek a court’s approval for alternative service. If you request a method of service that deviates from standard personal or substitute service requirements, you must also provide the relevant statute, court rule, or case law authorizing that method. We are happy to verify the information you provide, but we cannot research or interpret legal authority on your behalf.

5-Day and 10-Day Notices All 5-day and 10-day notices will be delivered by posting in a conspicuous at the designated premises. No portion of the notice itself will be filled in, completed, or altered by our office or the process server. The client will receive a signed Certificate of Delivery documenting that the notice was posted, which will serve as proof of delivery. We do not obtain signatures from the occupant, tenant, or recipient on the notice itself.

Unreasonable Repeat Attempts: Our process servers are trained to assess the viability of service during each attempt. If, in the server’s judgment, the subject is not present, not identifiable, or clearly avoiding service under circumstances that make further attempts unproductive or improper, we may close the job before all attempts are exhausted. We do not send servers back out without a material change in circumstances — for example, new information that would reasonably be expected to change the outcome (e.g., confirmed residency, updated photo, access instructions, court authorization). Paying for a set number of attempts does not entitle a client to all of them if the situation does not support further action. We will not continue making attempts solely on speculation (e.g., “they’re lying”) without supporting evidence. Repeated attempts to confront someone who has already denied identity — without new cause — may constitute harassment. We will not expose our servers to that liability.

We do not hold jobs for future attempt dates. If you have a document that cannot be served yet, please wait to submit it until you're ready for service to begin. Submitting early and requesting that we "hold" a job creates scheduling conflicts and may lead to misunderstandings about attempt timing. If you need an attempt made on a specific date, that must be handled as a scheduled or rush service with the appropriate rate.

We do not provide updates between individual attempts but will notify you with a final status once the job is complete. If you need to check in, contact status@azprocess.com. Routine service is assigned out to a server within 2–3 business days and all attempts are generally completed within two weeks. Rush service is assigned out within 1 business day and all attempts are generally completed within one week. Service may be completed on the first attempt or the last — meaning a routine job completed on the fifth attempt could take the full two weeks, just as a rush job completed on the fifth attempt could take up to one week.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Arizona time, excluding holidays.
